Tensions are running high at the opera. Max is still experiencing contradictory feelings towards Lena following their difficulties dancing together and acts distantly towards her. Not knowing what she did wrong, Lena writes him a letter, but will she be able to give it to him? He behaves so strangely that she decides to follow him to his aunt's restaurant. There she meets his festive and eccentric family. Tia Isabella takes an immediate liking to her and interferes a bit too much in her relationship with Max.
