As Hannah and Sean flee the ghostly woman, Rob deduces that she was Tom's ayah - nanny - in India in the early 1900s, and joins the siblings in Scarborough, where they find an unconscious Tom. He verifies that Isha was his nanny and always swore that she would care for him - even from beyond the grave - after she drowned in a shipwreck. The party goes to see Loveday Hutton, sister of Tom's late wife, who believes that the ending of the song Scarborough Fair contained the means to lay the ghost.
